Environmental concerns play an important part in their decision making process, we have yet to see if this plays out on a practical level. Marathon Oil Corporation pours pollutants into either the air or water, and should focus resources on cleaning up their act. Fossil fuels fuel their revenue; a lot of effort and long term commitment is the only way these guys will ever be green. They dispose of materials in an unsatisfactory way. More effort should be applied to improving their disposal processes as they are worse than should be expected of any company (unfortunately, many companies fail to deal with this issue). Even the regulatory bodies, not known as the most critical of judges, will tell you that these guys break the rules. Our research shows that this company’s lack of environmental responsibility is not just neglectful, it is abusive.
