| The Clorox Company manufactures and sells household products in the U.S. (45% of FY 2006 revenues), including plastic bags, wraps, and containers; home care cleaning products; laundry products; and water filtration systems and filters. Clorox's major brand names include 409, Armor All, Brita, Clorox, Kingsford, Fresh Step, Glad, Hidden Valley, K C Masterpiece, Pine-Sol, Scoop Away, Soft Scrub, S.O.S., STP, and Tilex.In FY 2006, sales to Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. accounted for approximately 26% of the company's revenues.As of June 2006, Clorox owned and operated 21 manufacturing facilities outside the U.S. in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Peru, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Uruguay, and Venezuela. More effort should be applied to improving their disposal processes as they are worse than should be expected of any company (unfortunately, many companies fail to deal with this issue). We’ve found that this company has a positive impact on its employees and on the communities where it operates. They make a real effort to ensure that their impact on the global community is positive.
